The Middlebury Institute's Marketing and Communications department is seeking a graduate assistant for the this summer with an option to extend through the school year. This person will help with telling the MIIS story to the Middlebury community and prospective students through web editing, publishing weekly and monthly e-newsletters, social media content creation and management, news story pitching and writing, as well as other projects as they come up. A candidate for this job should be a self-starter who is passionate about the Institute. * Required Experience/skills: * Strong writing skills * Creating social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) * Organized and detail-oriented * Proactive, self-starter * Desired Experience: * Web and HTML email editing (Drupal, Wordpress, MyEmma, Constant Contact, Mailchimp etc.) * Graphic design (Canva, Photoshop) * Video editing (Descript, Premiere, iMovie, etc.) * Photography This position is open to both federal and institute work-study students. Please note that this position requires some work on campus/in person.
