Market & Business Development Manager (5G mmWave)
Role: India Market Lead – 5G mmWave (Part time/Consulting)
Objective: Conduct market research, identify potential clients, engage with stakeholders, arrange business meetings, and gauge an understanding of the Indian market opportunity for 5G mmWave antenna modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Partner Engagement:
● Identify potential clients (telecom operators, RF component manufacturers, infrastructure providers) through direct engagement.
● Arrange and lead business meetings with key stakeholders including follow- ups and meeting notes
● Set up meetings for and support the client on an ecosystem to India
● Build relationships with R&D teams, procurement heads, and decision-makers.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
● Assess India’s 5G mmWave market size, growth trends, and demand for antenna modules through direct engagement with end customers.
● Assess the competitive landscape through interviews with end customers and other players in the market (competitors include but not limited to Murata, Hanwha NxMD, LG Innotek, etc.).
● Assess product pricing, supply chain, and distribution networks.
● Prepare a detailed market research report by the end of the project.
Business Development & Sales Support:
● Consider Go-to-Market (GTM) options for 5G mmWave materials in India.
● Gather insights on customer needs, pricing strategies, and localization requirements.
● Provide inputs for customizing 5G RF materials for Indian telecom needs.
Requirements:
● 10+ years’ experience in telecom, RF components, or wireless networks.
● Technical knowledge of 5G mmWave antenna modules and RF materials.
● Strong industry connections with Indian telecom OEMs, network providers, and suppliers.
● Experience in business development, market research, or technical sales.
● Ability to work independently, arrange client meetings, and drive strategic partnerships.
