All internships start on Monday, June 2nd. Housing not provided.


This internship will provide hands-on experience with customer research, synthesis of open-ended feedback, and training of field personnel with the rollout of a new reporting mechanism for measuring customer experience and satisfaction across our Market 32 and Price Chopper stores. An ideal candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal/communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the market intelligence team with providing trainings on new reporting tools for our store operations teams.
  • Work with the corporate consumer services teams to build out new reporting processes that enrich the insights gleaned from our Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback programs.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Develop and leading training sessions.
  • Generate data-driven insights and recommendations that will be presented to Price Chopper/Market 32 marketing and operations leadership.
  • The intern will also have an opportunity to develop new processes/workflows and make recommendations for improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Quantitative analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent project management skills, and ability to coordinate logistics with various corporate and field personnel (marketing, merchandising, store operations, external vendors, etc.)
  • Excellent critical thinking skills: specifically with regard to using data to make recommendations based on customer feedback and sentiment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate juniors/seniors, post-undergraduate, or graduate/MBA students preferred.
  • Majors preferred: Business, Marketing, Analytics, Communications, Hospitality, Retail Management
