Job Summary:

The Marketing Performance Analyst’s core objective is to empower the Marketing team with actionable insights to drive data-driven marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. This role requires advanced skills in querying databases (MySQL/AWS) and generating detailed analytics reports that align marketing efforts with strategic objectives, ultimately enhancing marketing performance and ROI.

Job Description:

• Develop comprehensive reports from multiple data sources (MySQL, AWS, CRM systems), providing actionable insights to track and optimize marketing campaign performance.
• Generate, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports for the marketing team, assessing performance across channels, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance marketing strategies.
• Create and manage reports for 3 teams within the marketing department, tailoring insights and metrics to support their specific goals and objectives.
• Coordinate with Lead Management Specialists to ensure raw data sources are maintained and up-to-date, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all marketing datasets.
• Work closely with leadership to provide strategic data insights, helping to align marketing campaigns with overall business goals and objectives.
• Implement, maintain, and refine data processes for collection, cleansing, maintenance, analysis, and validation across marketing datasets.
• Use MySQL and AWS to create, execute, and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval, supporting rapid decision-making and automated reporting where possible.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to understand key metrics, providing data analysis that drives strategic adjustments, campaign refinements, and business insights.
• Develop and implement forecasting models to predict marketing responses and conversion metrics, supporting marketing budget and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for all reporting and analysis tasks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across teams.
• Provide ongoing recommendations based on data analysis to continuously optimize campaign performance, customer segmentation, and conversion strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of performance analysis, specifically in a marketing team setting. Experience with MySQL and/or AWS data environments required.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying, with a strong preference for experience in MySQL or AWS.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data visualization and modeling.
• Strong familiarity with CRM platforms; knowledge of marketing automation tools is a plus.

Analytical Skills: High-level analytical skills to identify trends, understand root causes, and make data-backed recommendations.

Additional Skills:

• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to apply statistical methods to marketing performance data.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally, handling multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to present data insights effectively across various organizational levels.
• Must be willing to work during US business hours
