Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our data-driven marketing team in San Diego. This role supports the creation and optimization of marketing campaigns across digital channels and provides critical insights to drive strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about marketing performance within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze multi-channel marketing campaign performance and generate insights to improve engagement and ROI
• Build reports using business intelligence tools like Power BI, Excel, and SQL to support decision-making
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to document, track, and optimize marketing journeys and customer acquisition flows
• Monitor A/B testing results for subject lines, CTAs, and messaging to guide content optimization
• Maintain and enhance data dashboards used by marketing and business leadership teams
• Participate in the automation and deployment of personalized client communications, improving retention and lead conversion metrics
• Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects, performance tracking, and strategy development based on financial trends and consumer behavior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
• Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and SQL (Power Pivot and Tabular Models experience a plus)
• Experience or strong interest in marketing analytics and performance reporting in financial services
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in financial services, investment, or banking sectors
• Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, digital campaign performance metrics, and business intelligence best practices
• Exposure to marketing automation or CRM platforms a plus (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
