General Description: Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is a division of Quanta Services that provides integrated infrastructure solutions across the electric power, energy, and utility sectors. The Market Insight and Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with the Market Strategy Director to research and analyze new market opportunities, manage project pipelines, and support the development of capture plans for upcoming opportunities. This role involves tracking and reporting opportunities in Salesforce, developing financial deliverables, maintaining a marketplace activity database, and delivering actionable insights. The Market Insight and Business Intelligence Analyst will also enhance communication between various internal departments and operating units while identifying potential projects before RFI/RFP. Duties:
Support and advise the executive team and operating company officers by developing pipelines in the Power Delivery space.
Identify and communicate competitive advantages in specific areas to senior leadership.
Develop business case strategies and market entrance approach for emerging industries and/or technologies.
Monitor and report on activities within RTOs (PJM, MISO, CAISO, SERC, etc.) to inform strategic pursuits.
Maintain a list of prospects and pursuits in Salesforce, generate reports, and track bid history, win/loss KPIs, and conduct lessons learned post-proposals.
Facilitate communication through regular meetings, shared updates.
Maintain internal Teams and SharePoint file sharing systems.
Conduct research using third-party databases and internal resources to identify unknown pursuits and develop strategic approaches.
Analyze utility IRPs, federal/state policies, and industry trends to inform strategic positions.
Gain competitive intelligence and define communication strategies for new competitive advantages.
Understand material escalation and future outlooks.
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Develop, maintain, and disseminate industry news feeds.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic support role.
