Summary

Your Responsibilities Your responsibilities as ‘Regional Market Development Manager’

  • Drive the market introduction and procedural adoption within all healthcare environments by executing a market development strategy in close collaboration and alignment with the UroHys Global BU strategic direction.
  • Supporting the international collaboration with Iberian and EMEA marketing functions, plan and execute local marketing activities targeted to urology healthcare professionals and BPH patients
  • Support market access and reimbursement conditions for a new, specific procedure by collaborating with external contractors and internal colleagues. Execute economic and access strategy with local governments, associations, healthcare providers & payers.
  • Provide guidelines to adapt European clinical and economic value propositions to local market needs
  • Identify and onboard centres of excellence and continuously generate & engage with leads to build up and leverage influence within the key opinion network.
  • Build-up in depth knowledge of BPH market environment and competitive dynamics in Italy. Collate market intelligence, competitor activity & product updates, customer reactions and share with local and EMEA colleagues
  • Plan, execute and control timelines, budgetary costs/estimates and analyses; appraising performance against plan to achieve set targets regularly to local and EMEA management
  • In close collaboration with professional education colleagues and field application specialist, plan and execute regional certification pathway and training program for physicians adopting a new procedure
  • In close collaboration with field application specialist, attend and support clinical procedures performed by HCPs and support the certification of the sales team for supporting procedures autonomously
  • To work collaboratively across all Commercial Business Units, to ensure effective partnering with regional Olympus colleagues, in order to identify, develop and support clinician training through regional and local educational events
  • Represent Olympus at national and international congresses which are addressing the innovative BPH treatments. Support the facilitation of international collaboration within the global business unit for this therapy area.

Your qualification

  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills in Spanish & English minimum B2
  • Strong drive, self -motivated, flexible with entrepreneurial approach
  • Willing to travel
  • Ability to present information in a structured and balanced way and ability to independently plan and prioritise own workload.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team and support cross divisionally, with demonstrative lateral leadership skills
  • Solution provider and active contributor to the business
  • Minimum 36 months experience in Medical Device related product management and/or marketing and/or sales/ BDM (Multiple areas of experience desirable)
  • Prior experience in a urology discipline with existing relationships would be advantageous
  • Prior experience within implementing new therapies into the NHS and private settings would be advantageous
  • Prior reimbursement or healthcare payor-related projects would be advantageous
