Role overview

GTN Technology (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an individual who is a highly motivated self-starter to join our market data operations team. You will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to market data exchanges and vendor operations and will have to work with many internal and external stakeholders globally to achieve your objectives. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner that is highly organized and someone who enjoys working with large number of reports/documentation and system fulfilment requests within strict deadlines. You are expected to have excellent attention to detail with a keen eye to spot issues as well as manage large datasets and demonstrate strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and documentation on operational, costing and revenues and other ad hoc requirements related to market data operations.
• Managing exchange and vendor inventory and contract and documentation management
• Invoicing customers and collection of payment.
• Reconciling invoices against vendor and exchange declarations.
• Access control and user management of exchange data whilst facilitating exchange agreements.
• Assist in operational audits and compliance related requirements
• Manage end user validation using external sources such as LinkedIn
• Proactively work on improving processes and procedures for the market data team.
• Coordinate with internal departments, manage escalations and attend to BAU exchange and vendor queries.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between various parties involved in market operations
• Work with diverse and multi-cultural teams with the ability to influence and ‘get things done.

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel is mandatory with the ability to handle large datasets and create pivots.
• Two years of experience in an operations capacity within the Technology or Finance industries will be highly desired but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or Business is preferred.
• Prior experience in report management, invoice management, contract management, operational compliance/audits will be definite advantages.
