Who You'll Work With
You'll collaborate with production engineering teams, quality assurance personnel, and logistics staff to ensure efficient manufacturing and delivery of high-quality products. You'll also engage with other assembly technicians and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance processes.
What You'll Do
The tasks involved in the manufacturing process include assembling product subassemblies and final assemblies with precision and care, testing products and subassemblies to ensure functionality and adherence to quality standards, and inspecting finished products for quality and compliance with customer specifications. Additionally, troubleshooting equipment, devices, or product-related issues and providing feedback to production engineering are crucial responsibilities. Operators are required to handle production equipment in line with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures, maintain accurate records in webMES for timely and efficient production tracking, and clean, prepare, and package materials for customer shipments. Adhering to and promoting safety protocols on the manufacturing floor is also a critical aspect of the role. Furthermore, employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high due to the nature of the product and equipment.
