Job Title: Manufacturing Services Leader
Working Location: Cypress, CA
The Manufacturing Services Leader plays a critical role in the success of Rolls-Royce High Temperature Composites (RRHTC) in ensuring that our facility and equipment are operating to an optimal level for the development of Ceramic Matrix Composites, one of the top future technologies for Rolls-Royce. You will provide technical leadership to Manufacturing Services (equipment maintenance) teams, projects and others in addition to impacting through their functional knowledge.

What you will be doing:
* Leads the equipment Maintenance activities for the site and coordinates the activities of the Manufacturing Services team
* Implements the Company Health, Safety and Environment policy in all aspects of Manufacturing Services, understands and deploys all legislative requirements and control standards through effective communication, processes and actions that support safe and compliant workplaces and equipment
* Developed specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in Manufacturing Service (equipment maintenance) technical competence(s)
* Proactively drives strategies to improve equipment uptime (OEE) & maintains schedule adherence with the computerized maintenance management system (Maximo)
* Collaborates widely within Maintenance teams / Group Property and across other functions to deliver business objectives
* Supports procurement and financial processes associated with areas of responsibility (this will include representing Manufacturing Services in commercial activity and managing relationships with suppliers and service providers)

Basic Requirements:
* Associate degree and 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, OR
* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, OR
* Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, OR
* JD/PhD, OR
* 9+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering in lieu of degree
* In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering and experience in production/process equipment and building & infrastructure maintenance, OR production manufacturing environment
* Experience with Maximo and chemical processes and process safety management
* Proven track record delivering business results
* Demonstrated leadership whilst embracing behaviors that inspire team working and simplicity
* Led transformation projects and is familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma and lean (Green and/or Black belt desirable but not mandatory)
