Manufacturing Process Engineer – Quality (Molded Fiber)

We’re seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes for molded fiber products. This is a key role focused on increasing throughput, improving quality, and reducing scrap in a regulated, high-volume operation.
What You’ll Do:
Lead process improvements and support daily troubleshooting
Own quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with technicians and operators to optimize molding processes
Create and maintain engineering documentation (PFMEAs, specs, flow diagrams)
Oversee lab testing and ensure GMP, NSF, and quality compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical required)
3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in pulp, paper, packaging, or food
Strong knowledge of process control, quality systems, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, floor-focused mindset
U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship)
Willingness to relocate
Nice to Have:
Experience with molded fiber or pulp-based processes
Familiarity with SPC tools, PI Systems, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and ERP software
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
