An international manufacturer of precision scientific instruments is seeking an experienced Operations & Manufacturing Manager to lead its European production site near Bad Homburg, Germany.

This high-impact leadership role involves managing daily operations across Manufacturing, Fulfillment, IT, and Facilities, while driving efficiency, quality, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on production expertise, strategic planning, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production of complex electro-mechanical instruments, ensuring on-time, high-quality output.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting continuous improvement using Lean and operational excellence tools.
• Manage ERP systems, capacity planning, and materials coordination.
• Support quality through in-process inspections, RMA resolution, and collaboration on corrective actions.
• Partner closely with R&D, QA, and global operations to align production with business goals.

Ideal Profile:

• Strong leadership background in manufacturing or operations within a technical or regulated environment.
• Proficient in Lean methodologies, production planning, and team development.
• Experienced in ERP systems and cross-functional process optimization.
• Fluent in English (German a plus).
• Must live within commuting distance of Bad Homburg, Germany.
