Manufacturing Engineer

Central Massachusetts

Our client is searching for an Engineer in MA who can support and improve manufacturing processes for specialized scientific products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Learn from other engineering team members about current manufacturing processes and ongoing projects
• Spearhead manufacturing improvement initiatives and optimize existing manufacturing processes (i.e. manufacturing yields, reduce scrap, etc.)
• Collaborates with teams to develops BOM’s, routing, fixturing, and cost estimates of newly manufactured products

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS or AS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• 2+ years industry experience working on a manufacturing line (process engineering experience is a plus!)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style are key to this role

Salary:

• $80-110K annual depending on experience
