What You’ll Do

🔹 Work alongside experienced engineers to streamline production processes and enhance efficiency.

🔹 Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to design and improve manufacturing layouts.

🔹 Assist in process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

🔹 Gain hands-on experience with machining, assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and automation technologies.

🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design engineers.

🔹 Support the implementation of new equipment and manufacturing technologies.

🔹 Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to improve product quality and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, mistake-proofing or similar methodologies
  • Experience in the electronics or emergency communications industry.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and robotic systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment installation and troubleshooting.
  • PLC programming & troubleshooting skills.
