As a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting process and manufacturing engineers both technically and administratively. This full-time onsite position is available to start immediately and is a great opportunity in the exciting medical device industry.

Location: Onsite - Draper, UT

Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead process and manufacturing engineers (from new graduates to advanced subject matter experts) that support machining and clean room
  • Implement new manufacturing processes to support growth
  • Lead large scale projects which have an organizational impact
  • Collaborate with product development and supply chain for new product introduction including in source versus out source and design for manufacturing
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration on projects to ensure quality, compliance, budget, and timelines are met
  • Ensure manufacturing is supported daily to meet production goals
  • Develop processes that meet federal regulations (including FDA, ISO, ASTM) and the quality management system
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and do not settle for the status quo
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer of 10 years
  • Orthopedic manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a high mix low volume environment
  • LEAN or Six Sigma training and practical application
  • Utilization of LEAN systems in manufacturing, e.g. Tier boards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Listening, questioning, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in management
  • Experience in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles
