Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide essential engineering support to our manufacturing processes, projects, and functions. You will play a key role in evaluating manufacturing outcomes, implementing continuous improvements, and driving cost efficiencies. You will also support New Product Introductions (NPI) and new equipment/process introductions. This is an individual contributor role where you will leverage your expertise to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in production.
• Evaluate manufacturing outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and the introduction of new equipment or processes.
• Apply professional judgment to make informed decisions based on your experience and knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience in the field).
• Strong understanding and application of engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to evaluate processes, identify issues, and implement solutions effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on previous experiences and best practices.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with NPI processes and new equipment/process introductions.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
