We are a leading medical device company dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that make a difference in patients' lives. We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support the development and optimization of our manufacturing processes.
Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide essential engineering support to our manufacturing processes, projects, and functions. You will play a key role in evaluating manufacturing outcomes, implementing continuous improvements, and driving cost efficiencies. You will also support New Product Introductions (NPI) and new equipment/process introductions. This is an individual contributor role where you will leverage your expertise to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in production.
Evaluate manufacturing outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Collaborate on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and the introduction of new equipment or processes.
Apply professional judgment to make informed decisions based on your experience and knowledge of engineering principles.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
Work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience in the field).
Strong understanding and application of engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to evaluate processes, identify issues, and implement solutions effectively.
Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to process improvement.
Ability to work independently and make decisions based on previous experiences and best practices.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience in medical device manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
Familiarity with NPI processes and new equipment/process introductions.
Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
