Must-Haves:

• 3-6 years in manual testing, including both functional and API testing.
• Experience with Octane (or similar test case management tools like TestRail).
• Experience with any API testing tools (e.g., Soap API, Postman).
• Experience with Splunk or Datadog for application monitoring and log management.
• Proficiency with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Basic networking knowledge

Plusses:

• Experience in testing proxy application layers or software applications.
• Understanding of security principles and practices.
• Experience working with both development and functional testing teams

Day to Day

A client in Englewood, CO is seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join their expanding application support organization. This team is responsible for ensuring the robustness of a proxy application security layer through comprehensive testing methodologies. The role involves conducting manual testing to identify data gaps, root cause defects, and other issues within the application or security layer. The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to integrate manual testing processes alongside existing automated testing frameworks, perform functional testing and API testing to validate application performance and security, and utilize development testing techniques to ensure thorough coverage and quality assurance.

Pay Range: $30-40 / hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
