Managing Director (m/f/d) Japan

Tasks

• Full P&L responsibility for the entire business in Japan which stands at upwards of 35 Mio. €
• Providing positive and dynamic leadership for a team of 30+ employees
• Further developing the business within the existing markets such as machine building & robotics, automation, transportation, data center, renewable energies, and entirely new markets
• Define mid- and long-term business plans for the region
• Expanding of direct sales networks as well as distribution channels
• Manage and further deepen the business relations with the most important Key Accounts personally
• reporting line to the APAC President

Requirements

• Technical degree; MBA would be a plus or degree in business administration with sound technical experience
• Long-term leadership experience in general or sales management roles, preferably incl. P&L responsibility
• Good knowledge in the field of automation, electrical engineering, or electronics for industrial applications
• Profound knowhow in developing and improving sales organizations
• Entrepreneurial, motivational, and result-driven personality with conceptual strength and analytical skills
• Fluent in Japanese and very good skills in English
• Trustworthy person living in close proximity to Yokohama
