Position Summary
Wrightwell is seeking a driven and results-oriented Managing Broker to lead and elevate our Brokerage operations and sales within North Carolina. The Broker will manage their own transactions as well as build and support a team of investor-centric agents. This pivotal role demands a leader who can not only ensure smooth brokerage operations and compliance but also attract, develop, and mentor high-performing agents who excel in serving real estate investors of all sizes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in their real estate sales, an impressive reputation for representing clients with their investment sales, and the leadership skills to inspire and guide a sophisticated agent team. Position includes base salary and benefits.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Brokerage Leadership. Oversee all North Carolina brokerage operations, ensuring compliance and implementing strategies to attract and support investor-focused agents.
- High-Performing Agent Acquisition. Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract up to ten (10) experienced agents with a strong understanding of real estate investment principles, current investing trends and a proven track record of success.
- Institutional Investor Business Development. Cultivate and leverage relationships with regional and institutional investors to generate leads and opportunities for Wrightwell and its agents. Earn additional referral fees for those relationships!
- Assist with Agent Transactions. Oversee transactions, ensuring legal and contractual compliance, and providing guidance to agents.
- Pipeline Channels. Manage their own pipeline of transactions, both from corporate referrals as well as their own lead sources.
- Compliance & Risk Management. Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant regulations and implement robust processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks, particularly in investment-related transactions.
- Performance Monitoring & Growth. Track agent performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive growth and productivity within the investor-focused segment.
- Collaborative Leadership. Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment among agents, promoting best practices in serving investor clients.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Real Estate Managing Broker's License (or equivalent) in good standing.
- Located in a major market within North Carolina, preferably in the Raleigh-Durham area.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a successful real estate broker with a significant focus on investment properties.
- Proven experience working with or a strong understanding of the needs of real estate investors, including institutional clients.
- Demonstrated ability to attract and recruit high-performing real estate agents.
- Experience developing and delivering training or mentorship programs, ideally with an investment focus.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, financial analysis, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with sophisticated investors.
- Proficiency in real estate technology and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
