The Worker Oriented Clinical Program is seeking a full-time, permanent Manager to lead the Work, Stress and Health (WSH) Program and the Back on Track (BoT) Program. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a critical services that support psychological health and recovery at the level of the individual and societally.

The WSH Program offers unique assessment and treatment services for individuals with psychological injuries, primarily funded by third-party payers such as the Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)

The Back on Track Program provides educational services for individuals with impaired driving offences in Ontario. Both are revenue-generating programs with a mandate for active business development.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee essential clinical service delivery that impacts both individual well-being and societal health, while ensuring operational and strategic excellence.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Clinical Director, Worker Oriented Clinical Program, the Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational, clinical, and strategic management of all contracted services, including WSIB-funded programs and others.

This Includes

  • Supervising an interprofessional team (e.g., psychologists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff), collaborating with physicians to complete third party assessments and treatment
  • Managing and optimizing budgets, process, schedules and referral flows
  • Driving quality improvement in clinical, business and research initiatives
  • Supporting a psychologically safe and equity-informed working, learning and therapeutic environment
  • Leading change management strategies and fostering program growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of a cross-functional interprofessional team
  • Work closely with the Medical Head and other leaders within and relevant to the WSH Program to uphold the highest standards of care and performance.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff; oversee effective workforce planning and scheduling
  • Optimize resource use and streamline service delivery operations
  • Ensure full compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations
  • Oversee service administration and business office functions
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and grow program partnerships
  • Drive continuous quality improvement in clinical and business processes and monitor clinical outcomes
  • Foster alignment with CAMH’s Strategic Plan
  • Ensure adherence to all CAMH policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Act as an ambassador for the program internally and externally; provide timely, professional, and accurate responses to clinical, administrative and business issues as they arise, in line with the collective agreement and other contracts affecting services

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in a health-related discipline required; attainment of an MBA or MHA is an asset
  • Registration and good standing with a relevant regulatory college (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Psychology)
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience
  • Experience in mental health and addictions is essential; specific experience in trauma treatment delivery is considered an asset
  • Experience with third-party clinical service delivery is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management and strategic leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Technologically proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
