We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) projects to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of SRE initiatives. This role requires strong project management expertise, a deep understanding of SRE principles, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of SRE projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to implement SRE best practices and reliability-focused solutions.
• Define and track project milestones, KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs to measure service reliability and performance.
• Develop and manage project plans, roadmaps, and resource allocation for multiple SRE initiatives.
• Drive incident management and post-mortem processes, ensuring continuous improvement in system resilience.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and challenges related to SRE project execution.
• Implement automation and observability strategies to enhance monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities.
• Work closely with leadership to define and optimize processes for efficient SRE project delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within the SRE team.
• Prepare and present status reports, executive updates, and progress metrics to stakeholders.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery, with at least 3+ years focused on SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of SRE methodologies, reliability engineering, incident response, and system observability.
• Proven experience managing projects in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to engage with engineering teams, executives, and external partners.
• Experience working with ITSM, change management, and compliance frameworks.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agile, or ITIL.
• Experience in AI/ML-driven reliability engineering and AIOps.
• Knowledge of cost optimization, cloud financial management, and FinOps practices.
• Background in software engineering or infrastructure architecture.
