Job Description
About the Role
This role will sit on our Talent Management team, within our Talent Division. The Talent Division consists of three sub-teams, Human Resources, Talent Recruitment, and Talent Management. Together, these teams ensure strong systems and processes to attract, hire, retain, and develop every KIPP Texas employee. The Manager, Talent Strategy and Analytics at KTX is responsible for project management of key Talent workstreams and essential talent-related data reports. This role will coordinate and facilitate cross-collaboration committee meetings with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure data transparency, execution of Talent projects, and creation of strategies to respond to data trends.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Visualization
* Design, build, and iterate talent-related tools and processes that help our organization plan strategic responses to internal and external factors
* Work directly with school administration and organizational leadership across all of our regions (Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio) to ensure tools and processes meet the needs of our end-users
* Test, validate, and evaluate data visualizations for accuracy, performance, and alignment with organization priorities, and determine the best data visualization methods to present information
* Collaborate with the Analytics Team to scope end-user requirements and project plan for advanced interactive and dynamic data visualizations to meet functional needs
* Contribute to the talent team's knowledge management systems, documentation practices, and code review process to ensure that we build and maintain infrastructure sustainably
Data Reporting
* Execute ad-hoc analysis requests and serve as a strategic partner by resolving end-user questions in a timely, friendly, and proactive manner via our data tickets
* Develop and provide training to leadership and key stakeholders on the use, manipulation, and analysis of interactive data visualizations
* Manage the following reports via Tableau:
* Talent Health Data
* Hiring Tableau
* Candidate Experience Tableau
* Hiring Manager Tableau
* Oversee and progress monitor the following systems:
* Skyward Reports - Staffing Data
* Smart Recruiters - Hiring Data
Project Management
* Oversee and progress monitor Talent projects, potentially inclusive of Talent Planning Survey administration, Workforce Planning, and Staffing Model
* Will work directly with the manager to take the vision and design and turn it into actionable milestones
* Cross-functionally collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization, with an emphasis on partnership with Analytics, School Management, and Academics
Position Control Management
* Manages the position control workflow; approving/denying requests to posts from school based hiring managers
* Identify areas of misalignment with school based requests and staffing model, and work with Talent team to rectify and provide solutions
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3+ years in an Analytics role
* Experience in schools or education preferred
Skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required

* Experience with data reporting tools, including Tableau Desktop (preferably version 2020.4.13) and Power Bi
* Mastery of Microsoft Excel

* The starting salary range for this position is $60,000 and is commensurate upon experience and internal-equity

Work Environment
● Hybrid - three days working from a regional SSP office in San Antonio, Houston, Austin or Dallas; two days working from a home office.
Travel Requirements
* Ability to travel to various locations for in person meetings, or conferences, travel time approximately 20%.
