As the Manager, Systems Development – Salesforce, you will lead teams of IT professionals and provide expert IT solution delivery advice and direction to the organization, with a focus on the Salesforce Platform development. Typical projects will involve complex integrated systems that span multiple business functions, integrated with the core Salesforce platform. As the technical expert you will be responsible for leading your team in developing enterprise grade IT solutions following best practices and methodologies; defining, following, and enforcing standards; and documenting processes for consistency, maintainability, and continuous improvement. You will work with a diverse team and support and advance their skills development and capabilities providing expertise, guidance, and coaching, and will take accountability for their performance.
How You Will Create Impact
- Leading the team with formulating design and solutions for the Salesforce platform, or for integration with multiple systems, hardware platforms and development environments.
- Responsible for managing team of technical specialists and developers; Oversee the work performance of your team and individual team members, and provide support, coaching, mentorship, and guidance to advance their capabilities and potential.
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with IT and business partners.
- As the development lead, guide the team with choosing the approach, planning of activities, and assignment of tasks for large and complex initiatives.
- Provide leadership and direction to business areas in the definition of business requirements, the resolution of business and technology issues, the identification of opportunities for technology usage, and the selection and/or design of technology solutions.
- Provide consultation and support on various tasks related to application/technology/data integration or system development. As lead resource, organize, direct, and control the activities carried out by the team, managing changes, issues, integration points and risks.
- Educate IT staff on the importance of implementing effective strategic tools and technologies that reduce the need for one-off solutions through formal and informal instruction.

- Have 7 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field and have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Expert in Information Technology solutions delivery.

- Excellent ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities.
- Expert in Salesforce technology platform – Platform Developer and Architect.

- Strong ability to solution effectively and communicate complex topics to stakeholders in terms they can comprehend.
