Moneris is looking for a Software Developmemt Manager who is passionate about development, doing it right and having fun.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Software Development and Architecture.

Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do

• Lead a best-in-class engineering team
• Drive the architecture, development and delivery of high-quality, high-security, high-availability solutions
• Be a champion for engineering best practices (such as shift left testing) and continuous improvement
• Provide hands-on coaching to the team at an architectural and code-review level
• Communicate your team’s accomplishments, risks, and KPIs
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment
  
  

Your Moneris Career - What You Bring

• 3 yrs team management experience
• Development experience with React, Nodejs, and relational databases
• Experience architecting and delivering high-quality, high-security, and high- availability solutions
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub actions
• Experience writing test automation (unit, API, and UI would be great)
• Experience with cloud services (Azure would be great) and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform would be great)
• A passion for continuous learning about emerging technologies and software best practices
