Expected salary range of $126,000 to $140,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) team in its execution of the process, procedures and protocols that are utilized to ensure 24/7 monitoring and identification and mitigation of threats to the enterprise. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Security programs and participate in the developing and implementing the Corporates Security strategic plans and initiatives. Position will be responsible for budget management to include effective schedule management and overtime costs. Position will coordinate the strategic intelligence gathering and dissemination process and coordinate the overall corporate tactical response with a tactical resource within Constellation's Cyber SOC. Manage and provide business unit customers with clear and concise alerts regarding identified threats. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with clients internal and external. The SOC Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and information. This role involves managing a team of operators, leads and supervisors monitoring security threats, coordinating emergency response efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance with alarm and camera monitoring, incident reporting, incident response documentation, optimizing security technologies to maintain a proactive security posture and other miscellaneous responsibilities assigned to support the growth of the security operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations or fusion center concept and crisis management.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

Daily management of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team Conduct performance evaluations of SOC Operators, provide feedback, and help develop professional growth plans for team members.

Develop and Implement updates to SOC policies, procedures, protocols and best practices for SOC operations.

Conduct security incident report quality assurance reviews

Coordinate new operator applicant assessments and interviews

Maintain SOC Operator training, proficiency, and performance records

Review collected SOC metrics, e.g. Alarms, call volume, incidents, monitoring

Perform SOC Operator scheduling

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance situational awareness and response capabilities.

Ensure data integrity, system functionality, and compliance with security policies and regulatory program requirements.

Prepare and present reports on security trends, incidents, and operational effectiveness.

Conduct regular audits and assessments for SOC performance and efficiency to be report in monthly MRM.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the SOC.

Provide 24/7 on-call and/or on-site coverage to deliver immediate action for critical program support.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree

5 years of security management experience or law enforcement with at least 3 years in a supervisor role, preferably in a security operations center environment or fusion center.

Ability to work effectively under high stress situations in dynamic, fast paced environments

Ability to rapidly assess and respond to life safety and security incidents

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Knowledge of the following systems: CCure 9000E, Exact Vision, Andover Continuum, Pelco Control Point, Compass, DMP, Passage Point

Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as of NERC, FERC, Maritime, DOT etc.

Experience in emergency response, crisis management, and incident coordination.

Experience leading and managing technical personnel.

Strong judgment and excellent analytical ability to include Governmental, Industry or DoD analytical certifications.

Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of business management and with vendors.

Experience managing budgets for functional area of responsibility.

Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
