The Manager, Revenue Optimization reports to Director of Sales and Revenue Management and a dotted reporting to VP Commercial, Greater China. This position will be responsible for Revenue Operations and Commercial analytics for Greater China.
Scope of work includes but not limited to revenue streams such as Rooms, Event Space and Food & Beverage. This person will also be working on revenue management field support where necessary and provides training including development of learning content. Provides accurate analysis on Revenue, Sales and Distribution disciplines to VP Revenue, Sales Operations and Distribution.
This position will support pre-opening and transition hotels and lead all Revenue Management tasks prior to official opening of the hotel. Primary tasks includes but not limited to RMS (Revenue Management System) installation and training, hotel build workbook, and opening offer build, in collaboration with the hotel Commercial leadership team.
Collect, analyze and interpret data to gain insights to make informed business decisions
Create processes and SOPs to encourage collaboration between Revenue, Sales, Distribution and GPGS teams
Prepares analysis and supporting documents for presentation on ad-hoc basis to VP Revenue, Sales Ops & Distribution and RVP Revenue
Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue processes
Provides in-depth analysis on Global, Regional and Sub-regional promotions/campagins in collaboration with ASPAC Digital Team
Support hotel new opening and transition build up
Work closely with RVP Revenue to spearhead and implement F&B Revenue Optimization project
Stand-in as hotel revenue leader in the interim where position is vacant on ad-hoc basis. Act as the field revenue manager (remotely) to manage daily pricing and inventory, work with DOSM, Marketing and Sales team to build overall commercial strategy
Where required to host webinars/office hours with DOR&S on a regular basis and contribute field ‘best practices and opportunity areas” based on the past experience

Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Revenue Management at a hotel, preferably within Hyatt.
High degree of personal and professional savvy and experience which instills confidence among all internal and external audiences
Experience in Asia Pacific market
Proficiency in an Asian core language is a plus
Good corporate role model, proactive, fair and approachable
Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable in various cultures within the region, able to develop close communications and relationships with all properties and above property teams
Comprehensive knowledge of Hyatt corporate strategy, policies and procedures, standards of operation, philosophies, initiatives, systems, business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
Proven experience in strategy activation and project management
Strong analytical skills including gathering, visualization and presentation of data
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, hospitality management, or analytics
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills required
Knowledge of PMS, RMS, and CRS systems a plus
