Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Professional Practice and Service Excellence, this position is responsible for creating a culture of learning and clinical excellence through supporting programs that foster clinical and professional growth, supporting our mission of exceptional care.#Responsibilities include the initiation, development, evaluation and ongoing assessment of onboarding programs and competency assessment to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.#Ensures ongoing professional development for nursing and identified allied health clinical staff, including programs to meet #grow our own# and professional advancement strategies; promotes interdisciplinary learning.#Ensures educational standards are adhered to, and documentation is up to date.#Promotes innovation in learning methods, reports education outcomes, and impacts on business needs. # Annual Salary Range: $93,496.00 - $137,904.00 # Qualifications Education: Requires a master#s degree in nursing or Bachelor#s degree in nursing and a national nursing clinical specialty certification at the time of hire. Experience: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Prior experience must include two (2) years as a clinical educator in a healthcare setting. Requires prior supervisory/management experience.## Specialized Training: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training or higher is required within 12 months of hire. Certification/Licensure: Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice. Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing. A BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center is required within 3 months. National certification in professional development or nursing clinical specialty is preferred if not used to meet the education requirements.# Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership and management skills preferred. Demonstrated ability as a role model, mentor, educator, coach, innovator, and advocate for the professional nurse. Expertise in leading training and education programs. Must be able to work with multiple professions using a team approach to accomplish assigned projects. Must have the ability to facilitate projects, fostering a goal-oriented environment of rapid change, collaboration, and achieving outcomes. Ability to network outside the organization to identify best practices and benchmark performance.# Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
