The opportunity

As our Procurement Manager, you'll lead a talented team responsible for driving commercial outcomes that create real value for our members. You'll develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business priorities, balancing cost optimisation, risk management, and supplier innovation.


In this pivotal role, you'll:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement strategy across the organisation, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to procurement governance, risk management, and regulatory obligations
  • Oversee procurement policies, systems, and tools to ensure efficiency and transparency
  • Lead high-value sourcing events and strategic RFP processes
  • Oversee significant contract negotiations and renewals
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 procurement professionals
  • Build strong supplier relationships that drive value and innovation
  • Provide insights on market trends and category-specific opportunities

About you

You're a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Your approach to procurement balances efficiency, compliance, and relationship management. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring others to achieve their best.


The ideal candidate will bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or Commercial roles in dynamic environments
  • Experience with technology and professional service categories
  • A degree or diploma in a commercially oriented discipline
  • A track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving supplier performance
  • Experience in contract negotiation and compliance management
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A logical, results-oriented mindset
  • Experience in superannuation or financial services (advantageous but not essential)
