Title :-Manager - Performance Reporting & Analytics

The Manager, Performance Reporting & Analytics will play a critical role in the Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics team in support of Performance Reporting, Analytics, Data management practices, and governance to support the enterprise business needs. He/she will be responsible for design and development of compelling data visualizations, for analyzing and reporting on sales and marketing information, and to enable data-driven decision making, including sales tracking, trend evaluation, and market analysis.
Using technical skills and business acumen, the individual will be able to take business questions and translate them into timely and accurate technical solutions using in-depth understanding of customers, business models, products, and KPIs, supporting Business Operations & Strategy efforts to align to a single source of truth across functions.
This individual will be leading business requirements gathering and providing analytical support along with any end user training. He/she will work collaboratively with internal functional partners and external business partners to ensure alignment with data identification, metrics definitions, data visualization and democratization as well as analytical project objectives and approach.
This position will also be critical to planning and executing insights-driven analytics to inform strategy and improve execution efficiency across , collaborating within Business Operations & Strategy and across functions (e.g. BU leadership, Marketing/Sales, Clinical, Medical, Pipeline, Market Access, Finance).
This role will report to the Director, Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics.
Responsibilities
Lead performance reporting and analytics initiatives aligned to the overall strategic direction, vision and roadmap for each BU, based on priorities and needs
Create and deploy tools and resources to continuously improve our understanding of the market and to drive business goals, including the global performance dashboard, Sales Force Effectiveness reporting on field team activities, and other brand analytics to identify opportunities and risks in a timely manner
Work across Business Operations & Strategy and with key stakeholders marketing, sales and operations to map strategic initiatives to defined objectives, data sources and measurable KPIs, ensuring consistent usage to support business stakeholders and aligned visualizations
Lead ongoing development and enhancement of performance reporting suite, including data validation, data integrity, data profiling, data auditing, and data gap analyses
Work collaboratively with IT and other teams, aligning data resources for both strategic and operational use in a cost-effective and compliant way
Evaluate new analytics methodologies to continually improve the reach and scale of our commercial analytics
Develop new data structures to support innovative analytics using new data products or combination of products
Provide systems requirements for reporting needs to systems developers to ensure data is available for reporting
Collaborate with offshore resources in building reports, including reviewing and providing feedback of offshore resources' work
Ensure that reports and underlying data sets are accurate, and troubleshoot any issues with appropriate contacts (e.g. CFIT, FP&A, field ops, external partners)
Produce high quality, training materials, data dictionary and other supporting documentation to enhance data literacy, quality assurance, and process definition
Design and construct dashboards and reporting of brand analytics (e.g. market share) in support of aligned performance reporting, collaborating with Commercial IT, Digital, other internal stakeholders, and vendors on data infrastructure and delivery (e.g. data, platforms and processes)
Develop and manage project objectives, deliverables and timelines
Perform ad hoc analytics as needed to support priority projects
Requirements:
A passion for improving patient and business outcomes
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Masters preferred)
5 to 7 years of business analytics experience
3 years of experience with healthcare analytics, data sources and tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL) in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry (preferred). Experience with tabular models and SQL Server Analysis Services a plus.
Strong experience in design and development of compelling visualizations using applications such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. (Power BI and DAX skills highly preferred)
Experience integrating data from core Sales and Marketing platforms (ex: Marketing Automation, CRM, paid advertising and web analytics)
Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
Exceptional qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential
Familiarity with Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence environments
Familiarity with omnichannel marketing highly desired, direct experience with omnichannel marketing preferred
Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Able to prepare and present data in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner
Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question
Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness and collaboration as a team player, able to develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders
Self-starter who demonstrates energy and enthusiasm, bringing a positive solution-oriented approach to challenges
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
Experience with the following applications and resources desired:
Visualization tools: Microsoft Power BI (highly preferred), Tableau Desktop, or other visualization tools
Other tools: Marketo or other marketing automation platforms, Salesforce.com, Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager,
