JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Leading and managing the program management group globally.
  • Responsible for client and program assignment to program managers.
  • Primary point of contact for clients; providing clear, concise, and routine communication throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Collaborate with clients, internal groups, and department leaders
  • Manage full client programs, across all internal scientific departments
  • Ensure project billing is complete and correct based on contract
  • Ensure project is managed to completion, on time, and within budget
  • Facilitate and lead client meetings; distributing meeting minutes to all participants
  • Escalate client concerns, as appropriate
  • Monitor studies from start to finish, updating Project Management system as required
  • Work with internal support teams to ensure all deliverables (long and short-term) are conveyed, adhered to, and delivered on time
  • Review project contracts and manage project in accordance with defined scope and budget
  • Facilitate revenue recognition and forecasting for assigned projects
  • Understand regulatory requirements; GLP, GCP, OECD, 21CFR Part 11
  • Keep clients up to date on changes within the company that directly or indirectly impact their programs.
  • Partner with clients to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
  • Update and communicate changes to the scope of work along with associated budget and timeline impacts
  • Participate in client audits as needed
  • Train and mentor lower level Project Managers
  • Follow applicable SOPs and procedural documents
  • Other tasks as assigned


Skills, Education & Qualifications

  • BA/BS or higher with 10+ years Project/Program Management experience in pharmaceutical development
  • Able to work in a regulated environment
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience with GANTT charts and Microsoft Project preferred; able to work with computer systems
  • Able to document clearly
  • Knowledge of and experience in a regulatory environment and the role of bioanalysis and biomarkers in development.
