Summary

We're seeking a Manager, Network Engineering to lead global network strategy, design, and operations. This role requires deep expertise in LAN/WAN, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and team leadership within professional services. You’ll manage a small but growing team (starting with 2, growing to 4) and oversee hybrid networking environments, SD-WAN, and advanced routing.


Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Cloud Connectivity

  • Design, manage, and optimize global WAN and SD-WAN environments.
  • Lead hybrid infrastructure and cloud integration (Azure/AWS), including VPNs, VPCs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute.
  • Oversee advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and QoS for application prioritization.

Operations & Performance

  • Monitor and troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and bandwidth issues.
  • Establish high availability, disaster recovery, and detailed network documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, NIST, and other industry standards.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a distributed team of network engineers.
  • Drive resource planning, career development, and performance reviews.
  • Lead key network projects, including migrations and global infrastructure upgrades.

Strategic Innovation

  • Develop a network roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., Zero Trust, 5G).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, applications, and vendors.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years in network engineering, with 4–6 years in leadership.
  • Experience in professional services or global enterprise environments.
  • Proven success managing cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS.
  • Strong background in LAN/WAN, hybrid architectures, and cloud migrations.
  • Expertise in SD-WAN platforms (e.g., CATO, Silver Peak, Palo Alto).
  • Familiarity with routing, switching (Cisco, Arista, Brocade), QoS, IDS/IPS, and tools like SolarWinds or Wireshark.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
  • Scripting/automation skills (Ansible, Python) and understanding of zero-trust models and compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC 2).
