Job Summary: The Manager of Media Continuity will be responsible for scheduling specific series on all EarthxTV, implementing multi-platform scheduling on VOD, and acting as the primary scheduler for channels. They will work closely with various internal and external departments, including Ad Sales, Sponsorship, Programming/Production, Traffic, International, Finance, Content Distribution, Promos/Marketing, Social Media, Commercial Operation, and Listing. The Manager of Media Continuity will report to the VP of Traffic & Commercial Content and the executive leadership team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule specific series on all EarthxTV Media Networks
Implement multi-platform scheduling on VOD
Act as the primary scheduler for channels, utilizing Broadview and VOD scheduling software
Interface with various internal and external departments
Create air schedules, revisions, formats, and piece numbers
Track competitive networks and programs
Perform administrative duties with high visibility across all internal departments
Manage ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, film, television or related field preferred
Program Scheduling experience is a strong plus
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and organization skills
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
Overall, the Manager of Media Continuity with a Traffic Background will play an important role in ensuring that EarthxTV maintains a consistent and effective schedule across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
