About The Department

With presence in 18 countries outside Singapore, Group International Management seeks to enable each and every of the Group’s international entities to deliver holistic banking solutions to our target clients.

We strive to be good corporate citizens in the countries we operate in, working closely with onshore stakeholders to attract the best foreign direct investments that are aligned with the countries’ ESG aspirations, and supporting local businesses and individuals to achieve their growth ambitions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, monitoring and implementing business plans for the business units as well as ensuring its effective implementation and achievement.
  • To develop and present strategic and operational plans which are consistent with the bank's objectives and goals.
  • Ensure the Bank's core values and service standards are adhered to by all staff at all times.
  • Managing daily operations and achieving long-term direction for the business unit.
  • Implementing strategic plans to drive business success.
  • Leading and tracking leads generated from various sources.
  • Collaborating with other executives and senior leaders across the organization.
  • Monitoring industry trends impacting the business unit.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on the status and progress of leads and business activities.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in a managerial position in a financial institution.
  • Experience in a large scale organisation will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of the banking industry.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Sound knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
