As the Manager, Learning Programs, you will design and develop experiential learning products for students, non-profit professionals, and corporate clients. This includes on-site, online, immersive programs, and activity-driven modules. You will also create curricula for online webinars to ensure long-term accessibility of training resources.
Your responsibilities will also involve identifying and reaching out to target clients, pricing learning programs, and ensuring successful program implementation. You will be part of the core team who would generate sustainable revenue streams and support Senior Management with meeting documentation and records.
Your work will play a key role in advancing climate and sustainability capacity-building initiatives, delivering impactful learning outcomes for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop curricula for offline workshops, online webinars, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals to advance capacity building initiatives in the climate and sustainability sector. Manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring smooth delivery, learning outcomes, and continuous improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
Engage target clients with tailored learning solutions and develop competitive pricing strategies for accessibility and sustainability. Work with program management, senior leadership, and business development teams to develop strategies for Non-Project Recurring Revenue (NPPR).
Explore funding avenues beyond project-specific grants, leveraging client development and revenue opportunities. Collaborate with the Corporate Communication team to raise awareness and support Development Alternatives' mission through targeted marketing strategies. Ensure effective communication between internal teams and external partners for seamless program execution and impact. Analyze revenue trends, identify areas for improvement, and suggest corrective measures. Prepare reports for senior management with insights and recommendations. Utilize insights into consumer behaviour in the development sector to shape learning products, considering areas like livelihood, agro-economics, skilling, and nature conservation. Develop training materials and internal communications to support staff and stakeholders in promoting revenue-generating initiatives.
Qualifications And Skills
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Environment Sciences,Natural Resource Management, Social Sciences, Education, Business, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-4 years in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or related fields, with a strong record of creating and implementing strategies for financial sustainability.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on program success and continuous improvement.
