Summary:

The Manager, Logistics oversees LSPI’s Western Hemisphere functional and operational Supply Chain activities, including warehouse inventory management, asset movement coordination, and compliance with product handling guidelines. This role ensures accountability amongst the team and third-party vendors while maintaining best in class service and high product quality standards. Acting as a strategic liaison with the Supply Chain Excellence Team, the Manager provides operational insights to support data-driven decisions. They also lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align cross-functional teams and oversee the development of a rolling three-month plan for efficient execution.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory levels at warehouses align with established targets and proactively monitor key metrics to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production planning teams and support global logistics, including movements across Europe, the Middle East, and South America.
  • Lead monthly S&OP meetings, driving coordination between teams and ensuring alignment between sales, transport, logistics, procurement, production and broader business objectives.
  • Oversee the development of a rolling three-month plan, helping anticipate challenges and optimize operations accordingly.
  • Oversee adherence to product handling guidelines, ensuring that the warehouse operators comply with established testing procedures and protocols. This role is responsible for driving accountability within the team while fostering compliance among warehouse operators to consistently deliver exceptional service and operations, maintaining superior standards of product quality.
  • Manage a team of direct reports. Responsible for hiring decisions, training and development experience, performance reviews, promotional decisions, and pay actions for support and professional levels.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Excellence team and relevant global stakeholders to implement warehouse inventory management and asset utilization strategies effectively.

  • Good understanding of supply chain management
  • Demonstrate strong accountability

 

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ relevant experience OR 11 years' relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • SAP business experience in the Sales & Distribution module
  • Management experience, preferred.
