About the Opportunity

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and applicable regulatory frameworks including NI 81-102
• Review legal agreements and fund prospectuses to support regulatory adherence and operational clarity.
• Assist the Senior Manager in the day-to-day management of fund operations.
• Prepare and deliver investor and management reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor fund treasury activities, ensuring effective liquidity and cash flow management.
• Review investment accounting records, including the valuation of public equities, closed-end funds, ETFs, warrants, private placements, and other complex securities.
• Oversee the fund budgeting process and manage disbursements in line with approved budgets.
• Review and validate NAV calculations, management fee accruals, and performance/incentive fee computations.
• Draft technical accounting memos to support financial positions and policy interpretations.
• Ensure effective documentation, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls across fund operations.
• Preparation of due diligence materials and regulatory filings.
• Support new fund launches by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee performance of external service providers to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Conduct assessments and analytical reviews of key financial metrics and results

About You

• CPA – Current or prior public accounting firm experience (external audit)
• Manager level currently (Min 5 years of total experience)
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting
• Experience from capital markets, investment management, funds, pensions etc.
• Open to those coming from the firm OR from industry with relevant exposure

Salary Range

$100,000 - $130,000/year
