Who are we hiring?
The HR is team is seeking an experienced HR professional with enthusiasm and creativity. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the HR Manager will play a key role in supporting employees and business functions. We are looking for a proactive individual, who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong foundation of HR best practices and employment laws.
What will you do?
- Manages talent acquisition process for full-time, part-time, event and game-day personnel, optimizing and refining the full end-to-end recruitment process.
- Responsible for onboarding all employees, including communication and updating onboarding materials.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with managers and foster transparent, trusting relationships, understanding the staffing needs.
- Responsible for talent management responsibilities; inclusive of performance management and talent review process.
- Management and continued design of student intern programs, inclusive of intern experience, development and networking opportunities.
- Design and deliver employee overall experience and engagement strategies
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages for appropriate communications on various situations.
- Flexible work location and hours, based on game-day/event-based activities.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field (required)
- 5-7 years in Human Resources, 2 years with talent acquisition/recruitment experience
- HRIS system experience (Paycor is current system of use) and comfortable with use of various systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accountability and independence in a dynamic environment
Preferred
- Experience in sports or entertainment related industry
- Human Resource Certifications (SHRM, HRCI, etc.)
Special Requirements Of The Job
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings) and holidays.
- Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time sensitive matters with senior executives. Travel may be required - 20%.
- Must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds, walking, standing, sitting, reaching overhead, etc.; and environmental demands -- e.g., working in outdoor weather conditions, etc.
