Summary

Job Purpose

To lead and manage end-to-end HR operational processes related to onboarding, movements, offboarding, and employee benefits. This role provides direction to the team and ensures a seamless employee experience across the employee lifecycle while driving operational efficiency, managing vendor performance, leading continuous improvement initiatives, automate and simplify the process without compromising on regulatory.


Key Responsibilities

Onboarding, Movement and Offboarding Management

  • Oversee the full onboarding process including pre-boarding, Day 1 induction, movements and offboarding.
  • Ensure timely processing of employee documentation, system access, and benefit enrolment.
  • Manage exit processes including clearance, final documentation, and benefits termination.
  • Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for onboarding and offboarding processes and implement improvements where necessary.


Benefits Operations Management

  • Supervise and guide the benefits team in administering employee entitlements including medical, insurance, and wellness programs.
  • Ensure all benefits processes are aligned to policy, well-documented, and communicated to employees.
  • Act as escalation point for employee cases related to benefit claims, disputes, or exceptional approvals.
  • Track benefit utilization and support planning for benefit enhancements aligned with employee needs and business direction.


Vendor & External Partner Management

  • Manage performance of third-party vendors (e.g. TPAs, insurers, wellness partners) including SLAs, contract renewals, and service reviews.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Legal on vendor appointment, TOB reviews, and compliance matters.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to vendors, benefits programs, or platforms to improve cost efficiency and user experience.


HR Process Improvement & Project Management

  • Identify gaps and lead enhancement projects to streamline HR operations and automate manual processes.
  • Support system upgrades, employee self-service features, and digitization of onboarding or benefits documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new tools or processes in alignment with business needs.


Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date SOPs and process maps for onboarding and benefit operations.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation and responses.



Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

Threshold Qualification

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.


Years & Nature of Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of onboarding, offboarding, and benefits operations.
  • Proven experience managing vendors and driving HR operational improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with HRIS systems and process automation initiatives.
