Job Description
We are seeking a Growth Analytics Manager to join our Analytics & Insights team. This leader will be responsible for building and scaling internal data products, delivering critical business insights, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for coaching and developing people.
This manager will lead a mid-sized team responsible for producing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, monitoring for anomalies, and proactively identifying potential red flags in business performance. They will also oversee Trupanion's growth KPI reporting and performance monitoring. In addition, this leader will manage incoming stakeholder requests and ensure timely, high-quality analytical support that help guide decision-making across the organization.
This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
What you will do:
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous growth.
* Support career development and technical skill-building across the team.
* Ensure the team is focused on delivering value to the business through clear priorities and strong execution.
Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement
* Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to understand their goals and translate them into impactful data solutions.
* Promote data literacy and empower teams across the organization to make data-informed decisions.
Data Strategy & Execution
* Oversee the design and delivery of reporting, dashboards, and analytics that track KPIs and uncover performance trends.
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support confident decision-making.
* Collaborate with Data Engineering to develop scalable, reusable data models.
* Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation of reporting workflows.
Experience you have:
* 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business analytics, or related fields.
* 2-3 years of leadership experience managing diverse teams of data professionals.
* Bachelor or master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
* Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.

Compensation:
* The pay range for this position is $110,000 -$130,000, on a full-time schedule.
* Along with base salary, Trupanion employees are eligible for monthly bonuses.
* We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion's success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
