JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analyst that will leverage their expertise in Quantum inventory management software to enhance operational efficiencies, streamline inventory tracking, and optimize cost structures within their maintenance and repair operations in the aviation industry.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Capturing Cost Per Engine and Module: Complete work order close-outs in Quantum for each engine or module, with a focus on verifying labor hours and materials to ensure accurate cost capture.
Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and forecast costs associated with aviation inventory, concentrating on engines and critical components, to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Inventory Tracking and Reporting: Use Quantum software to monitor, track, and manage inventory levels for aviation parts and engines. Ensure precise, real-time inventory reporting and forecasting to support MRO operations.
Data Analysis and Metrics Development: Develop and maintain KPIs related to inventory turnover, parts availability, and cost per hour to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align inventory and cost management strategies that enhance profitability and operational performance.
Profil
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Aviation Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis and inventory management within the aviation industry.
Proven expertise in Quantum inventory management software, with a focus on inventory tracking, engine accounting, and cost analysis functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and written skills in English and fluent in French.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, especially in inventory modules.
Excellent communication skills for reporting and cross-department collaboration.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the aviation sector.
Experience with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations, including practical knowledge of engine tracking and cost accounting is preferred
Advanced certification in Quantum or similar aviation inventory management tools is preferred
