Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finance-related activities, ensuring legal compliance, managing client invoices, and working closely with our accounting and consulting partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including the preparation of annual and quarterly reports, GST filings, and other regulatory compliance.
• Track and manage client invoices, ensuring timely payments and following up on overdue accounts.
• Draft and send communications to clients regarding outstanding invoices and other financial matters
• Ensure all financial practices are following legal requirements and industry standards
• Act as an interface between the company and external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor and evaluate the services provided by our accounting and consulting firm, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements
• Handle payroll compliance, petty cash, including TDS and other legal requirements
• Ensure company compliance with statutory laws such as Company Law, Income Tax, Service Tax etc.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior management to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
  
  

Skills Required

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in a small company where the candidate played a main finance role
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and legal compliance
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end financial activities
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong self-starter qualities
• Experience working closely with senior management, especially the CEO
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions

The company is based out of Hyderabad. We are looking for people who reside in Hyderabad and be available when required.
