Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assist management with monthly and quarterly reporting
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax laws and regulations.
• Review of GST returns and ensure compliance with tax liabilities (TDS, income tax)
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions and drive performance improvements.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement financial systems and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize the use of company resources.
• Stay updated on industry developments and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and provide financial insights.
• Prepare an expense budget report.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
• Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in financial management, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with various departments within the organization.
• Proficiency in using Tally, Accounting &financial management software and MS Office suite.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the education sector.
• Experience in implementing financial systems and controls.
• Additional professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
