Speciality Chemicals: The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.

We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established ‘partner of choice’ in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.

Chemical Intermediates: The Chemical Intermediates business has acetic anhydride and value added anhydrides and aldehydes catering to various industries.

Nutrition & Health Solutions: The Nutrition & Heath Solutions business unit offers B3 & Picolinates (Chromium & Zinc) which are fully backward integrated. Our ingredients find application in animal nutrition, human nutrition, personal care, etc. We provide high-quality feed & food additives having application in poultry, dairy, aqua & pet food industry. In Human Nutrition & Health Solutions, we offer food ingredients & premix solutions to nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking and Renewals
• Track validity of all licenses.
• Ensure timely application for renewals/amendments to maintain business continuity.
• Environmental Licenses
• Lead the process of obtaining environmental licenses from all regulatory authorities for all sites.
• Compliance Review
• Periodically review compliance with environmental licenses, EC/CFE/CTO/HWA/CGWA NoC/UPGWA NoC.
• Assist in complying with stipulated conditions across all sites.
• Legislation and Regulation Updates
• Regularly access new legislations and amendments.
• Assess implications for operations and develop compliance actions.
• Maintain a library/repository of all regulations for future reference and strategic actions.
• Regulatory Orders and Notices
• Regularly access NGT orders, MoEFCC/CPCB directions, and public notices.
• Predict changing trends that pose potential risks to business continuity and develop mitigation measures.
• Environmental Projects
• Conceptualize and develop actions/projects for environmental compliance, resource optimization, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and sustainability.
• Environmental Studies
• Undertake/facilitate environmental studies.
• Regulatory Communication
• Draft responses to regulatory letters and notices, public complaints, customer/vendor queries, and stakeholder reporting.
• Certification Audits
• Facilitate certification audits for corporate office and sites.
• Budget and Strategy
• Prepare and monitor the implementation of the annual budget.
• Develop strategies and actions for business continuity.
• Capacity on Environment
• Expertise/knowledge of all environmental laws and groundwater regulations applicable to the chemical manufacturing and distillery industry.
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring and performance standards for the industry.
• Effective techno-legal communication, both oral and written.
• Good understanding of design criteria and operation of ETPs, STP, and ZLD systems.
• Excellent ability to access information from websites of regulators, judiciary, and government agencies to trace and track matters relevant to business and operations.
• Liaison
• Good technical liaison with environmental regulators at state and central authorities.

Qualifications:

B.E. (Chemical / Environment engineering) + M Tech / LLB.

Additional qualification of M Tech in Industrial Production or LLB
