Summary

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Manager Employee Relations and HRBP for a leading MNC based in Colombo. As the Manager, Employee Relations & HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to our Supply Chain leadership team. You’ll play a dual role: providing proactive HR business partnership to support operational excellence, while also leading complex employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness.

This is a pivotal role that requires strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of employment law and organizational dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:


Employee Relations:


  • Serve as the primary advisor on complex employee relations issues across the supply chain.
  • Conduct and oversee investigations, ensure fair outcomes, and maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to minimize risk and improve workplace culture.


HR Business Partnering:


  • Partner with supply chain leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives.
  • Support change management efforts and culture transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years’ progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Previous HRBP experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practices in ER case management.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
