Job Summary
Receives objective based assignments, and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect section or multiple disciplines. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influences methods and techniques. Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce.
Responsibilities
Leadership
* Assigns, instructs, and manages team
* Plans core duties for the team to complete
* Manages and supervises the project team and acts as a mentor to team members
* Identifies and resolves issues, and manages quality of products for customers
* Manages the project team
Systems Support
* Troubleshooting and fault resolution of reported/detected faults by investigating the issue, identifying the cause and implementing the required fix
* Summarizes the findings during the troubleshooting and produces Incident Reports for the customer
* Mentors team on authoring reports
Installation
* Understands and applies customer cabling requirements, manages site surveys, provides cost estimates to Sales and installation of new cables
* Manages testing of cables, before handing to customer
Vendor Management
* Manages, briefs, and instructs vendors for installation, testing, and labeling
Maintenance
* Manages preventive maintenance to IBX equipment to prevent faults from occurring
Project Management
* Manages multiple projects and designates work to team
* Monitors project budget, scope, and progress
Technical Expertise
* Extensive knowledge in network and equipment platforms, systems, and circuits
* Assists in implementing new procedures
Qualifications
Typical Degree & Years of Experience
* Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
* California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $130,000 to $194,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
