Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the candidates is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits in an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of benefits programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors and administrators
Assist with the design and implementation of employee benefits programs (e.g. Flexible Benefits Scheme, Medical & Insurance Plans, Employee Wellness Programmes) that align with HR Strategy and the University’s goals
Manage the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for all benefits plans
Ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to benefits and stay updated on changes in legislation
Handle benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure prompt and accurate resolution
Maintain detailed records and prepare analytical reports on benefits utilization and trends
Collaborate with the HR team to integrate benefits with overall HR strategies and initiatives
Provide training and support to employees on benefits-related matters
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function
Knowledge of various types of employee benefits, including flexible benefits scheme, health insurance, medical plans, and employee recreation and wellness programmes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrix organization
Independent and ability to manage senior stakeholders
