The Manager Platform Solutions is responsible for the sale, distribution and ongoing usage growth of CME Group’s front-end trading applications across all Client Development and Sales (CD&S) customer segments. The Manager role requires a working understanding of trading applications and how they are used by institutional customers.
Sales responsibility will encompass a subset of the CME Group Electronic Trading Applications, as well as any other CME and third-party functionality, content and market data & analytics delivered through the Electronic Trading applications, including but not limited to CME Direct, QuikStrike, CME Direct Mobile, CME Clearport, among others.
The Sales will collaborate with CD&S relationship managers, Product specialists, platform onboarding team and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach and excellent customer experience, ultimately driving goal achievement.
As part of CD&S the Manager Platform Solutions will follow all CD&S processes including but not limited to salesforce reporting, pipeline management, account management, campaign management, country plan management and other initiatives.
The Manager will ensure they continuously develop their product and service acumen in CME group platforms and related technologies specifically, but also across all product lines and asset classes of CME products. The individual will understand and stay informed of platform and ISV related issues, technologies and trends within the wider industry.
Principal Accountabilities
- Introducing CME Group Electronic trading platforms to existing and prospective users, demonstrating features and benefits to drive adoption, ongoing usage and supporting trading volume growth.
- Educating and training end-users on the functionality, benefits and opportunities that CME Group electronic trading platforms provide to traders, risk managers, and other relevant users so that they can optimize their utilization of the platforms.
- Ensure an optimal customer experience, facilitate ongoing usage and drive growth of trading volumes, increase usage of related functionality, and facilitate sales of market data delivered through the platforms.
- Support firms as well as individual users through sign-up, onboarding, upgrades and migrations of the platforms.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant CME Group and third-party technology and data distribution policies and licensing delivered through the platforms.
- Participation in events and trade shows, showcasing CME Group platform solutions
- The Manager will be aligned with CD&R goals and targets, as well as actively cross-selling and cross-referring CME products and services, identifying and referring opportunities for product adoption and growth to the appropriate CD&S sales team.
Skills And Software Requirements
- A good understanding of institutional financial market trading and trading platform usage is preferred at a minimum in one asset class and/or customer segment.
- A proven ability to work with clients including building and maintaining relationships with the financial institutions to facilitate their understanding of the application of CME Group’s products and offerings to inform their trading, investment and risk management needs.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute responsibilities to meet or exceed objectives.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively across organizations. Works towards cultivation of a culture that encourages open communication, cooperation and the sharing of information.
- In addition to English, fluency in at least one Asian language.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or equivalent through experience.
