Overview Of The Role
This role is a key piece in AgeOptions' leadership team and growth strategy. Develop and execute strategies to expand AgeOptions fee for service revenue through contacts with Medicare and Medicaid health plans and provider systems. This role will lead business development initiatives, establish governance structures and ensure the successful implementation of action plans that drive revenue growth.
This position will also play a critical role in strengthening AgeOptions community-based organization (CBO) network by supporting provider onboarding, performance assessment and operational management.
- Lead Business Development Strategy & Execution- Establish the governance structure and develop an actionable business development plan, including defining roles, responsibilities, financial plans, and key performance metrics to track progress and ensure success.
- Optimize Sales & Marketing Infrastructure- Identify target customers, refine sales and marketing materials, enhance CRM/database tracking, and evaluate technology solutions, including managing an RFP process if needed, to support business development growth.
- CBO Network Growth Management- Lead efforts to identify, onboard and support community-based organizations (CBO), ensuring network adequacy, performance improvement and streamlined billing and reporting processes.
- Policy & Contract Development- Develop and implement policies, procedures and contract templates to support business development, including billing, compliance and conflict of interest standards in collaboration with stakeholders.
- People Leadership- Coach, d evelop and guide a team of professionals. Evaluate and give feedback to the team, ensure efforts are highly effective and resources are used appropriately.
Required Experience
Who are we looking for? Someone with---
- At least 5 years of demonstrated business development or management consulting experience in the health plan and/or provider sectors. Emphasis on strategic planning, financial analysis and revenue growth through partnerships. Knowledge and experience with Medicare/Medicaid health plans or provider systems.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing both individual contributors and people managers, with a demonstrated ability to set clear expectations, drive accountability, and develop high performing teams. Experience working with internal and external stakeholders including health plan providers and community-based organizations build partnerships and optimize service delivery.
- Ability to develop and implement governance structures, policies and operational procedures to enhance business development efforts.
- Experience with CRM platforms, customer tracking databases and RFP management for evaluating business development tools.
- Ability to develop compelling sales and marketing materials, refine contract templates and clearly communicate business strategies to internal teams and external partners.

Benefits
The starting salary range is $75,000-$85,000 annually; based upon an individual's experience, education and licensing and considering our internal equity.
In addition to your annual salary AgeOptions makes a 5% contribution to your 403(b) whether your contribute or not!!
This is a full time role and includes ability to participate in our medical, dental and vision plans
