We are seeking an energetic and and well-organized Banquet Manager to provide our customers with first-class banquet experience. As a banquet manager, you will liaise with Catering Manager and Head Chef to meet the customer expectations. Your duties will include controlling the cost and quality services, preparing the venue, and coordinating the service of meals.
To be successful as a banquet manager, you should exhibit extensive experience in managing banquets and delivering services within budget. Outstanding banquet managers ensure that customers receive a level of service that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
Designing and implementing event plans.
Supervising employees and preparing staff schedules.
Monitoring production of food & beverage to meet quality standards.
Ensuring necessary equipment & materials are available.
Making sure event setup is completed in an efficient and timely manner.
Inspecting event setup to ensure it meets quality standards.
Maintaining records & organizing paperwork.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Must possess effective pre-planning & execution skills
Be able to respond quickly & resourcefully to internal & external issues.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Outstanding negotiation & organizational skills.
Requirements
2-3 years of Food & Beverage service background and prior hospitality experience
Experience in supervising banquet venue staff.
Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
F&B experience
Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
TABC Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate required.
Maintain positive and productive working relationship with other employees and departments.
