About the Role


We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader in digital transformation and enterprise technology solutions and transformation drivers within the water and utilities domain. Our client is hiring a We are looking for an experienced Management Consultant to take on a dual leadership role as both the Insurance Lead and Client Engagement Partner (CEP) for our largest insurance client in the ANZ region. This Melbourne-based role will focus on expanding the insurance consulting portfolio by combining strategic growth, digital transformation, and domain-specific innovation.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering end-to-end consulting engagements, advising CxO-level stakeholders, and driving profitable growth across a range of transformation initiatives. The role calls for deep consulting experience, strong insurance domain expertise, and the ability to drive strategic partnerships within the BFSI sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the consulting relationship with our largest insurance client as a trusted advisor and Client Engagement Partner (CEP).
  • Define and execute the insurance consulting growth strategy for the ANZ market, contributing to the broader BFSI practice.
  • Drive transformation programs across platform modernization, digital enablement, customer centricity, and innovation.
  • Lead business development, account expansion, and solution innovation initiatives across the insurance domain.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders including CIOs, COOs, and Chief Transformation Officers.
  • Partner with global delivery, product, and technology teams to co-create client solutions.
  • Deliver engagements that span strategy, operations, digital transformation, and change management.
  • Build high-performing teams and contribute to internal capability development within the insurance vertical.
  • Shape thought leadership in next-gen insurance operations, Gen AI, and tech-enabled business models.

Key Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in management consulting or transformation roles, with a strong focus on the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated success in working with Tier-1 professional services or consulting firms in Australia.
  • Experience in delivering transformation programs at scale within Life, Health, or General Insurance domains.
  • Proven capability in building and scaling consulting businesses or vertical practices.
  • Excellent client relationship management and business development skills, with CxO-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery experience in digital, operational, and platform modernisation initiatives.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance operations, compliance, product lifecycle, customer journeys, and distribution.
